Imani Nuñez

Creative  /  Designer / Photographer

I am a Creative determined to use my craft as a tool to serve. I believe that visual art is a powerful form of communication. It can communicate complex ideas, provide a different perspective, and empower individuals.

I am currently the designer for the Center for Puerto Rican Studies. There, all my work is focused around collecting, preserving and documenting the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. In this position, I design for award winning journals, websites, art exhibits, conferences, etc.

Outside of my professional career I try to have my work speak to themes of race, class, gender, and identity. My objective is to provoke, inform and lead minds to question the status quo and hopefully provide one of many paths for people to reach a better understanding of the world.
